Following this research I began to sketch my ideas. Considering the environment where the sculpture was going to be placed I developed the notion of including something to do with the human body. The David Cerny Video had given me additional ideas about movement etc and I decided that my work would reflect the human spine with some movement. Associated to this I began to think about the materials that would be needed, remembering that the sculpture would be out in the elements.
